This purple 2010 Nissan Elgrand E52 Highway Star 350 2WD 3.5L model with 75,305 kms was inspected for a client at USS Tokyo auction on 29 September 2016.
Options included dual power slide doors, front and rear parking sonar, factory around view monitor and TV, traction control, rear TV screen and full leather seats.
Overall condition was good and consistent with a used but well maintained vehicle. Interior roof lining had some minor stains and marks. Seats were all in nice condition (two dark spots on the driver’s seat were just water from the rain on auction day).
Of specific note was the fact that this Elgrand was fitted with snow tyres and was from an area about 2 hours north of Tokyo known for having a decent amount of snow. As a result there was some obvious surface rust on the underbody. While still acceptable for SEVS compliance as it mostly affected items like the exhaust and lower components not the body itself, it did reduce the otherwise attractiveness of this car.
A set of spare wheels with regular road tyres was included in the back.
It passed in and didn’t sell having not reached the reserve price, last bid was at 1.645 million yen FOB equivalent.
